dsmHack programming wouldn’t be possible without those who volunteer their time and unique, valuable skills. There’s an opportunity for everyone to get connected and help a nonprofit they are passionate about including one time projects and opportunities for ongoing assistance.
From our annual hackathon to other specialized programming, we need a variety of skillsets from our volunteers. These needs change from month to month and evolve from year to year. Not sure if you can contribute? Below is just a sampling of volunteers we need. Not sure if you fit into one of these categories? Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and join our mailing list to make sure you’re notified about new opportunities.
Are you a master coder or even a curious coding apprentice? Do you enjoy learning new skills and solving technical problems? All backgrounds are welcome! All you need is a willingness to give of your time and talents and the ability to work with a team.
From experience in designing websites, to UX/UI, or application development, we need your creative minds to make our nonprofits shine.
Do you recite project timelines in your sleep? Know how to prioritize and break down projects into valuable deliverables for customers? Are you a servant leader that brings out the best in teams? Your organization skills are invaluable to our hack teams.
Do you speak both “business” and “tech” fluently? Can you work on your own or alongside project managers and scrum masters to break down work? Are you interested in pairing with a developer to learn more? Business analysts are a valuable part of any team. Join us!
Are you a test automation ninja? Do you believe in test driven development? Do details catch your eye? Looking to beef up development skills? Quality is important and we need your talent!
Web content wizards, database administrators, DevOps engineers, SEO experts, etc. Everyone can help!
Even if you don’t fit in one of those categories, we may still have an opportunity for you to volunteer. Keep an eye on our programming needs, or let us know if there are specific skills you can help our nonprofits with.
