Andreas is a software consultant based in central Iowa with over 20 years of programming experience, most recently at Source Allies, a Des Moines-area technology consultancy known for craftsmanship and community involvement. He does his best work in Java, JavaScript, and Go, and holds Kubernetes certifications that reflect his passion for DevOps — the practices, pipelines, and culture that get great software shipped reliably.

No stranger to dsmHack, Andreas has volunteered at six hackathons before joining the board, and is excited to help connect the technical community with nonprofits that need it most. Outside of work, he is active in Boy Scouts, enjoys video games, and builds 3D printers.
