With 37 applications from 33 organizations, our selection process wasn’t easy this year. The 2017 Des Moines Charity Hack kicked off this evening, and this year’s nonprofits represent a variety of causes. A week ago, dsmHack hosted its very first tech workshop exclusively for nonprofits! As this was our very first foray into a non-hackathon event, we had high hopes but were cautiously optimistic.
