Cai is a computer engineering student at Iowa State University with a strong interest in software development. He enjoys building side projects that allow him to explore new technologies while creating engaging and useful applications. Outside of programming, Cai spends his time cooking (and eating), lifting, gaming, and playing basketball. As a first-generation college student, he feels a deep connection to supporting local businesses, which reminds him of his parents' journey. After attending the hackathon, this passion led him to join the board in 2025.
